musefic | AUgust 2020

This was a challenge hosted by AUgust Writing Challenge on Tumblr.

It's a fairly low-pressure challenge with flexible rules. There's one AU prompt for every day of the month (with a few alternates, if something isn't inspiring.)

I'd barely worked on any ahead of time, so functionally this did wind up being just about 31 fics written in 31 days. I managed it (if barely), which was very satisfying, but also pretty exhausting. I appreciated the way in which it meant I couldn't overthink, but definitely also made it clear how much more I like being able to edit and rewrite.
